Yagami Light is a brilliant college student who, one day, finds a "death note" notebook simply titled "Death Note." Inside of this death note book is a list of rules and details as for the use of the "Death Note." When Yagami realizes the power Yagami holds, Yagami decides he's going to make over the world by using the death note. Yagami wants to make the world into a better place by killing those who do others harm using his death note. Yagami has been nicknamed by the police "Kira."....
"L", a brilliant detective who lives in secrecy, rises from the shadows and puts his life on the line trying to capture Light who owns death note. Both L and Light believe themselves on the side of Justice, and the two match wits trying to show exactly which of them is "good" and which of them is "evil."....



Follows the mysterious L and others as they try to catch cool and brainy high school student Raito Yagami who has come into possession of a notebook that allows him to summon a murderous demon simply by writing the name of his intended victim. Although Raito is aware that killing is wrong, he strongly believes that the violent crimes he perpetrates are justified because "evildoers must die in order to create a better society.





In the second installment of the Death Note film franchise, Light Yagami meets a second Kira and faithful follower Misa Amane and her Shinigami named Rem. Light attempts to defeat L along with Teru Mikami (a Kira follower) and Kiyomi Takada (another Kira follower) but in the end will Light win? or will a Shinigami named Ryuk make all the difference in Light's victory or his ultimate death?






A spin-off of the popular Death Note films, L: Change The World focuses on the legendary detective L as he uses his final 23 days to solve crimes all over the world. When a young girl and boy come to him for aid, L is soon faced with what may be his most difficult case yet: stopping a group of corrupted scientists from spreading a lethal virus throughout the earth.
